About this deal

The Hypnos XIX-1200, Artemis XVII-3000, and Kronos XVIII-500 are all great spring powered options that offer unique pros and cons. While they're still definitely safe enough to be used by children, these skew toward older users and are ideal for those in the adult Nerf scene. Aside from its appearance, the Evader Modulus releases 12 darts with the potency of automated rapid-fire. Interestingly, the entire system is biased to the the right side of the blaster, down to the barrel (which is clearly offset). The grip of the Hera MXVII-1200 has been carefully engineered to fit comfortably in a player’s hand.

Nerf C1698 Rival Hera MXVII 1200 White Combat Blaster

Admittedly, I’m hesitant to rate this any higher – I still personally see the Dart Zone Velocity (as well as the related and still available Accelerator) as the best semi-auto Rival type blaster. The Nerf Rival Pilot is a break action, breech loaded Nerf gun that comes in a small package, but packs a big punch. Users say it’s only accurate up to 25ft, but raining fire in all directions still overwhelms the enemy and provides cover for your teammates. This 3D printed replica of Han Solo's Star Wars blaster is built upon OFD's FlyCore tech, shooting half-length darts in full auto fire modes at speeds of up to 50DPS+200 FPS. As one of the least insane of the new X-Shot Insanity series blasters, the bolt-action Berzerko still manages to come across as more than a little crazy, with an 8-dart rapid-fire cylinder and ammo holders galore- It's time to go berzerk!By default it is powered by 6 C batteries, but it is compatible with the standard Rival rechargeable pack sold by Nerf. They’re impressive powerhouses, ready to provide entertainment at your next family gathering, office retreat, or birthday party. Built on the Angled Flycore blaster framework, the Gears Vector is a fully customizable powerhouse of a blaster. It's great for those who enjoy the simplicity of spring power but aren't interested in a budget model. The grip feels comfortable in hand, and the overall weight is well-distributed, making it easy to wield during intense battles.

Nerf Rival Hera MXVII-1200 Blaster Review

The large darts travel up to 100ft and work best as a protective wall of firepower, since they’re not exact shots.

The compact Hera lacks a hopper feeding system, but its use of standard Rival magazines means that ammo storage and reloading are still quite easy to deal with.

These blasters justify their cost by incorporating all of the latest technology Nerf has to offer, such as flywheel mechanisms that enable fully automatic fire and rechargeable battery packs that increase power and reduce long term costs. The addition of a red dot sight further enhances your targeting capabilities, ensuring that your foam rounds hit their mark with pinpoint accuracy. Weight distribution plays a crucial role in the usability of any blaster, and the Hera MXVII-1200 shines in this aspect. This monster of a blaster requires a shoulder strap to use since operators must pull two triggers simultaneously and the weapon weighs 5lbs. It may be easy to think that this makes it objectively the best, but its bulkiness compared to something like the Kronos might mean it's not the perfect sidearm for your setup. The blaster boasts a cutting-edge design that draws the eye with its angular lines and dynamic contours.
